Dino gets standby vehicle till his is customised

It's an unusual exchange. While Dino Morea is waiting to customise his Mahindra CJ340 jeep, the car manufacturer gave him a Bolero Stinger as a standby vehicle to drive around till he gets his customised one back to check if he wants his earlier jeep like this one.

Doing up my drive

Dino says, "I had asked them to customise my old jeep which is in Bangalore and do up the upholstery, engine, dashboard etc. It will also have spoked rims for the tyres which makes it more compatible to drive.

I was shocked and thrilled when they offered me the use of their vehicle until such time that I get mine customised and also so I could get used to the feel of it.

I have been driving it around Bandra. Indian jeeps are cool vehicles aesthetic, great for Indian roads and airy."

Apart from driving around his newly loaned jeep, Dino is selecting the colours for his customised one. "I want a dark colour like black, dark blue or army green.

I love my old jeep a lot and that's why I want it customised. For my daily needs, I have another luxury vehicle.

I love automobiles as much as I love riding bikes. It's my dream now to buy myself a Ferrari."

Lara Dutta and Dino Morea haven’t parted ways yet

The couple seems to have ironed out their differences and are dating again, but not without being overcautious about their PDA (or the lack of it).

So, Lara Dutta and Dino Morea haven’t parted ways yet. Their romance may have hit a few hurdles, but the lovebirds steeplechased them all and their love appears to be stronger than their troubles.

The duo has recently been spotted spending quality time with each other in public. They were seen walking their pets – Lara’s two dogs along with Dino’s three – at Bandra sea face. The couple was chatting away like thick friends.

‘Indian Cine’ Stars on Catwalk at IIFA Fashion

It was a bright and starry last night at IIFA as celebrities modeled on the catwalk last onJune 12 for the country’s leading fashion designers at the IIFA (International Indian Film Academy) Fashion Extravaganza in Macau.

It was hosted by celebrity duo Zayed Khan and Sophie Choudhury, who looked stunning in Manav Gangwani creations. Headlining the glamorous gathering was international singing sensation Peter Andre.

The star-studded night featured catwalk shows by leading Indian designers Rocky S, Manav Gangwani, Anamika Khanna and Farah Ali Khan — along with a new collection by Hong Kong designer Chris Chang.

Among the movie star models, Hrithik and Suzanne Roshan showcased striking yet feminine jewellery by Farah Ali Khan.

Chic Sonam Kapoor looked stunning in Anamika Khanna’s sexy, glamorous, edgy and stylish evening wear.

The ever-sophisticated Bipasha Basu elegantly modeled glamorous traditional wear by Rocky S, while Dia Mirza, Dino Morea and Madhavan modeled for Manav Gangwani, and Neil Nitin Mukesh and Mugdha Godse were show-stoppers for Siyaram.

The IIFA Fashion Extravaganza raised funds for the IIFA Foundation, which supports families of film industry workers who are adversely affected while working on films. The IIFA also hosts charity celebrity events in support of the foundation. -Sampurn Media

Glittering fashion show, flat jokes at IIFA charity event

Macau, June 12 (IANS) Product placement in Bollywood took on a whole new meaning at the IIFA Fashion Extravaganza here Friday night in aid of film industry workers, even as a number of film stars walked the ramp, but the jokes scripted by hosts Zayed Khan and Sophie Chaudhary fell quite flat.

The Shiamak Davar dancers introduced the latest mobile phone by sponsor Videocon in an energetic routine before the first two models of the new phone to be launched soon were autographed on stage by Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor, to be auctioned off later in aid of the IIFA Foundation which supports widows and orphans of film industry workers.

The work of a host of Indian and Macauan designers was featured not only by models, but in some instances also by Bollywood stars.

Dino Morea sparkled in a white suit to offset the cream outfit of Dia Mirza, both designed by Manav Gangwani, while leading Macau designer Chris Chang prominently used children in her display.

Raima Sen and Neha Dupia were part of the ensemble that modeled exquisite jewellery by D’damas and Sonam Kapoor highlighted the collection by rising designer Anamika Kapoor.

Neil Nitin Mukesh showed off a black suit as part of the Siyaram range, but it was not what he would wear in his next film, “Jail”, by award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, in which Mukesh earlier said he would wear genuine jail uniforms lent to them by the authorities.

Also taking to the stage to introduce “Do Knot Disturb”, their next film together, were Govinda, Sushmita Sen, Producer Vasu Bhagnani and director David Dhawan.

“I don’t know why they called me onto the stage at a fashion show like this!” Govinda remarked in jest. “Have you seen my clothes that I’m wearing?”

Amid the glitz and glamour, Khan and Chaudary tired hard to crack the punch lines of their scripted jokes, largely failing to secure laughs from the audience for the cliched gags.

Scores of fans lined the Green Carpet, singing popular Hindi songs as their favourite stars arrived for the event, most stopping to pirouette in their outfits for the TV cameras.

Overall though, the effort was lauded for the funds that would go to the foundation for a worthy cause.

The IIFA Fashion Extravaganza is part of the three-day IIFA Weekend that ends here Saturday evening with the IIFA Awards for the best in a range of film categories.

Bollywood lovebirds make appearance at IIFA (IIFA Diary)

Macau, June 12 (IANS) Whether it is 63-year-old Kabir Bedi or Riteish Deshmukh, who is almost half the latter’s age, Bollywood’s unmarried men were spotted with their girlfriends at the ongoing International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) weekend here.
While Kabir Bedi walked in on the first day’s green carpet hand in hand with his much-younger girlfrend Parveen Dusanj, Riteish descended with his rumoured girlfriend Genelia D’Souza.

Even former Miss World Lara Dutta, who looked stunning in a black heavily sequined top with trousers, walked in with actor boyfriend Dino Morea and stole away the limelight with her poise and enigma.

IIFA, an annual event that promises to take Indian cinema beyond Indian shores, kickstarted here Thursday and will end Saturday with the award ceremony.

Sushmita Sen hopes for an award next year

Former beauty queen-turned-actress Sushmita Sen’s dormant film career has left her with no option but to simply hope for an award every subsequent year.

“Unfortunately I am not getting any award this time. But I will be back with my other films next time. This time I will just give away the awards,” Sushmita told reporters here.

Sushmita is here to promote her forthcoming comedy film “Do Knot Disturb”, which also stars Govinda, Riteish and Lara.

“I am promoting my film heavily. That’s what I am here for. We are also performing at the IIFA,” she said.

Is Neil Nitin Mukesh really an Indian?

Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh sent international mediapersons at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) into a tizzy with his good looks.

“Is he really Indian? Maybe he is of mixed origin,” a Macau-based male journalist who writes for an English daily asked IANS.

Another journalist Claudia, who writes for a Portuguese paper here, said: “He looks amazing. Actually quite a few of the Indian actresses like Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta and Anushka Sharma also look good.”

While Lara Dutta
remained in touch with ex-boyfriend Kelly Dorje after she split with
him, she is not on talking terms with Dino Morea, after their recent
break-up. Which is why Dino didn't invite her to the launch of a new
branch of a hotel chain owned by him.

Says
a source close to Dino, "Lara and Dino's relationship ended on a bitter
note. Dino went through hell trying to cope with the sudden termination
of the relationship by the actress. He was shocked when Lara spoke
about their break-up to friends, and even in an interview, when all
along, she had forbidden him to speak about them being together.

Today, their relationship has soured to the extent that Lara, who used
to be seen at most of Dino's parties and events even as friends, was
conspicuous by her absence at Dino's opening of Crépe Station at
Oshiwara." Dino says, "I don't want to talk about it." When we ask Lara
whether she didn't come for the launch because she wasn't invited and
that she's not on talking terms with Dino, Lara says, "I am in London
shooting for House Full."

At the launch, Dino was seen leaving
in the same car as VJ Pia Trivedi. But the actor maintains there is
nothing romantic going on between them, "Pia and I are just friends.
There is nothing more. In fact, she is my brother Nics friend. We all
hang out in a group together and when everyone was leaving I too piled
onto the car she was in. Right now, I am not dating anyone and I want
it to be like that. I want to be in Dino Land — in my own space for
some time."

While Dino Morea is happy with his
little roles and fewer films, he is concentrating his efforts on businesses - a
chain of restaurants. The man, however, also runs a production house and is all
set to launch a film soon. The big question here is: Will Lara Dutta be a part
of his first home production

The answer is 'No!'. While Dino
himself may have a role in it, the actor-turned-producer who is still to decide
the casting, insists that Lara has no part in this motion picture, as reported

Dorjee talks to Stardust magazine about ex-girlfriend Lara Dutta now seeing his

On Dino: "He
was my best friend; not any more. When Lara and I broke up, we moved on so she
was free to see whoever she wanted to see."

On the Dino-Lara relationship


"I still haven't accepted this
entirely. My words just don't flow smoothly because I feel wronged. I have
become very spiritual in my life and I have searched a lot to discover myself.


So now, I don't judge anybody. But Dino lied to me. Dino never had the
guts to come and tell me.

In fact, he spent so much time with me hiding
it. Even after he started dating Lara, he never told me and you know
what."

"He hasn't told me till date. She had to come and
tell me because he didn't. One has to be a man and stand up for what you do. If
one wants to piss away 15 years then be ready to stand up for
it."

On being
wronged

"Dino doesn't need to apologise to me or do
anything for me. The truth is he's wronged himself and his way of life.


When he is old and lying down ready to leave this world, I truly hope he
doesn't look back in regret because everybody deserves to live well.


There is nothing he can do to correct it as it's done. What hurt me was
that Dino didn't have the guts to tell me himself.

I didn't find out
from anybody else but at the same time, even after spending so much time with
me, he didn't tell me.

We would be in London together and after being
with me for a while, he would run away saying he's got some work and would be
shopping with her. All this I found out later on."

Last words to Dino:"I have never tried to
defame Dino. This is the first time I am even uttering his name in so long. All
I will say is that don't go around telling the world you didn't do nothing
wrong. Don't speak about it but don't deny it either."

Mumbai, April 01: In yet another case of high profile celebrity link ups, Kelly
Dorjee blasted actor Dino Morea for latter’s clandestine relationship with Lara
Dutta – ex-girlfriend of Dorjee.
News has it that both Dino
and Lara kept their secret affair under wraps from Kelly. According to a source,
"Dino and Kelly have been thick for years. It was a major shock for Morea when
he read Dorjee`s interview in a leading film magazine. He never expected Kelly`s
outburst in print. Now Kelly has severed all ties with the two."

It is
believed that both Dino and Lara had a huge argument the day the magazine came
out. The source added, "Dino had a faint idea that Kelly was going to talk to
the media. But he wasn`t ready for such a fiery bashing. In fact, bearing in
mind the fact that he`d talk to the media, Dino was planning to meet Kelly and
ask him against doing anything of the sort."

Lara, who had a shared a
great chemistry with Kelly is bitter with Dino. With fresh news of Kelly
accusing Dino of double-dealing, Lara knows that her relationship with Kelly is
damaged beyond repair.

Lara’s troubles do not end here as she is
distressed with Dino Morea’s ex Nandita Mahtani, who publicly gets to flirts
with him at social dos and parties with Dino hardly stopping her.


According to grapevine, at the sangeet ceremony of Amrita Arora Ladhak,
Nandita was getting up, close and personal with Dino, while Dino did nothing to
stop her! Dino’s closeness with his ex-girlfriend is another bone of contention
with Lara.

With Dino making frantic attempts to get in touch with Kelly,
the latter is in no humour to oblige Dino. According to the source, "Kelly is
more upset because he later learnt that Lara was under the impression that Dino
had told him about them dating. However, it was only when Kelly denied such a
thing that Lara had to personally go and talk to Kelly about Dino."

Dino Morea's official site gets hacked

Dino Morea is an avid net freak.He spends hours on his Facebook
and Twitter account and also loves interacting with his fans on the official site – www.dinomorea.net.

The actor hasn't been able to visit his website
since it was hacked yesterday morning.

The actor is majorly upset about his website being hacked. He used to visit it regularly and read the comments of his fans. He would put up pictures of his new look and ask readers for their feedback. His site became like a dating community for members who had registered on the forum. They started posting personal details and someone recently put up a virus, which made the site crash.

Dino confirms, " My site
has been hacked into and corrupted. I had a forum where fans would post stuff and chat. But then I realised they started chatting among themselves and it soon became a dating site. Later on, someone posted a virus on the forum and that's how the site was hacked. For now, the site is shut down as it needs
clean up."

Even though the actor does not plan to register a complaint in the cyber cell department, he plans to now get a moderator to monitor chats
and the contents of the material posted on his virtual address
, "It will take a while but I will definitely upgrade
it. It probably will also have a new look as I was planning that for a while. My site was hugely popular and used to have super traffic, but it's sad that one person had to bring it down."

Bollywood star Dino Morea unveiled the Kingfisher Goa Professional League 2009/10 at a glittering function that took place at a 5-star resort on Friday.

Kingfisher will be the new title sponsor of the Goa Professional League 2009/10 and has appointed Bollywood star Dino Morea as the ambassador for the league and the Goan Santosh Trophy team.

Kingfisher will also sponsor the Senior Goan state team, which is the defending champion of the Santosh Trophy. Further they will be also supporting the inaugural Kingfisher Beach Soccer Championships to be held later in the year in Goa, while the Kingfisher Goa Pro League continues to be promoted by Procam International.

Speaking on the occasion after unveiling the Pro League logo, Bollywod star Dino Morea stated that he was happy to be associated with football, specially in Goa, which he loves the most and hoped to do something from his side for the development of the game.

Gurpreeet Singh, General Manager – Marketing of United Breweries Ltd, said that Kingfisher was a young, trendy and sporty brand, which is happy to be associated with the Goa Football Association and Goan football. Singh added that Goans are very passionate about football and therefore they are the home of some of the improtant clubs in India.

The Kingfisher Goa Pro League 2009/10 will feature following eight teams:
Dempo SC, Sporting Clube de Goa, Churchill Brothers SC, Salgaocar SC, Raia Sporting Club, Goa Velha SC, Vasco SC and Sesa Football Academy. I-League champions Churchill Brothers SC are the reigning champions of the Goan league, while Salgaoncar finished runners-up last season.

The eight teams in the Kingfisher Goa Pro League will play 56 matches in a double-leg system starting from August 29 and last till mid-December. The matches will be played at Tilak Maidan and Duler Ground. The Fatorda Stadium could be included to the list based on the availability of the ground.

The winners of the Goa Pro League will receive a price money Rs 2 lakhs, while the runners-up will earn Rs 1 lakhs.

The Kingfisher Super Cup will feature the top four teams from the Kingfisher Goa Pro League. The teams will face each other in the semifinals and the winners will advance to the final. The Super Cup winner will receive Rs. 75,000 and the runners-up an amount of Rs 35,000.

Vivek Singh, Joint Managing Director Procam International said, "Procam International, along with Kingfisher is committed in our vision to promote the game of football in Goa on a massive scale as the Goa Pro League has enjoyed tremendous response and support from the sports loving people of Goa and we hope to make it bigger and better this year."

Savio Messias, Honorary Secretary of Goa FA, said in his statement that "Goan football was making grand progress over the last few years and as the Goa Professional League being the GFA’s flagship event, it will once again be the focus of all the attention and I hope it will be a great sucess."

The league started off in 1951 as the Senior Division League, before the GFA renamed it to the Goa Professional League in 1998.
