MT: On his love for hoops.
Morea: I do play a lot of basketball – I used to play in university, but because of my (acting schedule), we don’t play much anymore but I try to get a game in once a week at least. We have a huge youth population who plays basketball in India, and everybody who plays basketball watches the NBA. Everyone loves Kobe, loves Shaq, loves LeBron … We have a huge number of fans back home.
MT: On Bollywood:
Morea: Cricket and films are the two biggest industries in India, where we have a population of a billion plus, and besides India, we have Indians living all over the world who are another couple hundred million. So we have Indians everywhere, and everybody watches Bollywood films. (With that kind of audience), if we can give people an opportunity to think that maybe we can play this game and go somewhere, maybe be drafted sometime to the NBA – it’s just trying to inspire people and giving them hope for something better.
MT: On watching the Lakers game courtside:
Morea: It’s the first time I’ve been courtside, and I think it’s one of the most unbelievable experiences. For instance, for me, if I go to a cricket match in India, there are about 70 or 80,000 people sitting in the crowd, and that’s electrifying. But sitting courtside, it’s as if you’re part of the game. You hear the players scream at each other … It just adds to the energy, and it’s brilliant.

موريا: كريكت و فيلم دو صنعت بزرگ در هند هستند جايي كه ما ميليونها بيننده داريم علاوزه بر هند ما هندي هاي زيادي داريم كه در خارج از هند زندگي مي كنن . پس ما هندي ها رو همه جا داريم و همه انها فيلمهاي باليوود رو نگاه مي كنن و همينطور بينندهاي مختلف ديگر. ما ميتوانيم اين فرصت رو به مردم بديم كه اين بازي رو بكنن و يا شايد براي اين كار به جاي ديگري بروند و شايد يه وقتي به NBA برند ما سعي داريم به انها اميدي تازه اي بديم باي چيز بهتري
- در تماشا كردن بازي هاي ليكر در جايگاه مربي
موريا: اين اولين باره كه من در جايگاه مربيان بودم و من فكر مي كنم اين يكي از تجربيات باورنكردني من بود. براي مثال براي من اگر برم مسابقات كريكت در هد انجا حدود 70تا 80 هزار نفر هستند و ازدحام مردم هيجان انگيزه .اما اينكه در جايگاه مربي باشيد كه صداي انها رو بشنويد و ببينيد كه چطور انها جيغ مي زنن و انرژي مي گيرن اين خيلي درخشان خواهد بود

Dino Morea has always maintained that Lara Dutta is very special to him and that fact was proved on Tuesday when she came to his Bandra bungalow to spend his birthday with the rest of his family.
The actor, who is in his early thirties, says, "This year, we decided that we would bring in a quiet birthday. Because of the 26/11 attacks, the mood of the country is sombre and personally, I haven't been in the mood for celebrations. So we decided to have a quiet family get-together at my home."
This birthday was even more special for the actor as, "Mum and dad came from Bangalore to spend time with me on my birthday. They were to come on Dec 21 but they wanted to surprise me on my birthday. It was my best birthday gift, as I haven't seen them for eight months now."Besides his brothers, Santino and Nicolo, Dino admits close friend Lara Dutta was also with him. "But Nico's girlfriend was also there," he smiles.
He's reluctant to talk about the gifts he got from his near and dear ones, "I got some stuff like an iPod and a computer but it's too personal to talk about. The presence of loved ones around me was enough." Though he is reluctant to reveal what Lara got him, a close friend of the couple spills the beans, "Lara and Dino both love gadgets and when they were in the USA, they bought a lot of them. Lara bought a Mac Airbook for Dino, a slip video and upgraded her iPod."
But it was not all play and no work for Morea. He adds, "I cut a big chocolate cake, had a nice birthday lunch and then I attended three important meetings. It was a good sign that I worked on my birthday because all of the meetings were good for me. I always go to Mount Mary, I went three days ago but didn't have time on my birthday. I find a lot of peace there," concludes the birthday boy.

وقتي كه اون به ويلايش در باندرا امد تا جشن تولدش رو با خانواده اش بگيره بازيگري كه در اوايله سي سالگيه ميگه:
"امسال ما تصميم گرفيتم بخاطر اتفاق و حملات 11/26 جشن تولد كوچكي داشته باشيم وقتي كشور در حال خوبي نيست همه چيز تيره است من دوست ندارم جشن بگيرم. و در مورد جشن هم نيستم."
حتي اين تولد براي دينو مخصوص تر هم بود
" پدر و مادرم از بنگلور امدن تا زمان رو با من در روز تولدم بگذرونند انها گفته بودن كه 21 دسامبر ميان اما انها با عجله امدند اون بهترين كادوي تولد من بود من انها رو از 8 ماه پيش نديده بودم"
همراه برادرانش دينو دوست صميمي اش لارا رو هم دعوت كرده بود و او هم همراهش بود.
"اما دوست دختر نيكولو هم بو"
او مي خندد
اون بي ميله كه در مورد كادوي اون يك دوست صميمي حرف بزنه
"من چيزهاي زيادي گرفتم نظيرIpod و كامپيوتر و چيزهاي ديگه اما اين خيلي شخصيه كه من در مورد كادوي ديگر حرف بزن تنها حضور اون در اطراف من دوست داشتني بود"
يك دوست در پايان گفت كه
" دينو و لارا در امريكا لبريز عشق شده بودن و انها خيلي چيزها خريده اند و كادو همانجا خريده شده است.
و لارا براي اون يه Mac Airbook خريده كه ويدئو رو باري ريختن در اي پاد مي بره."
اما اين همه چيز نبود براي موريا
" من يه كيك شكلاتي رو بريدم و يه ناهار خوب داشتم و بعد سه قرار كاري مهم داشتم كه اين علامت خيلي خوبي بود كه من روز تولدم كار كردم چون هر سه ملاقاتهاي من به خوبي انجام شد
من هميشه به كليسا مونت ماري ميرم و سه روز قبل رفته بودم اما وقت اين رو كه روز تولدم انجا برم رو پيدا نكردم انجا هميشه به من ارامش ميده"

Dino's ex files perturb Lara
Blessed are those people who can manage their ex-files. But it seems Dino Morea is not as lucky. Recently at a bash thrown by SRK and Gauri, the duo had to deal with the 'ex' factor.

Dino Morea's ex girlfriend Nandita Mehtani got a tad too close to Dino. The duo kept chatting and thus gave a royal ignore to Lara. No prizes for guessing that the ex Miss Universe got offended and left the party.

It was then, when Dino realized the gravity of the situation and followed his ladylove.

After her breakup with her boyfriend of many years, Kelly Dorji, Lara Dutta had become quite secretive about her relationships.

So it was never all that clear whether she and her one time pal Dino Morea were actually seeing each other or not. The recent buzz said that they were indeed together and have broken up now.

Reportedly the two crossed one another’s path at the bash Shahrukh and Gauri had thrown at Mannat.

Dino Morea and Lara Dutta were guests there too. When Lara saw Dino getting closer to his ex-girlfriend, designer Nandita Mahtani, she left the party and Dino followed her.

A source confirms, “Lara, Dino, Preity, Ness, and Nandita were all seen having a conversation. Later, Preity and Ness started mingling with other guests and the trio was left to themselves. Dino and Nandita were in the chatty mode, and were seen joking and laughing. It was obvious that Lara wasn’t too comfortable with her beau’s ex around.”

Apparently at one point, Lara even saw Nandita sitting on Dino’s lap. It was then that she lost her patience and left the party. On seeing her leave, Morea too excused himself and followed her.

A source adds, “Yes, they had a tiff over Nandy but they talked and things are fine now.”

بعد از جدايي لارا ار كيلي بعد از دوستي طولاني مدتشان او بطر مرموزي در مورد رابطه اش ساكت بود.
همچنين اون هرگز رابطه اش با يار جديدش دينو رو واضح بيان نمي كرد كه اييا واقعا انها را با هم مي بينند يا نه.اما اخرين يه وزوزه هايي مياد كه انها به راسي با هم بودند اما الان اين رابطه شكسته شده.

ظاهرا در يه لحظه لارا ديده كه حتي نانديتا در اغوش دينو نشسته بوده و بعد از اون بود كه او ديگه صبر خودش رو از دست مي ده و پاريت رو رها مي كنه وقتي رفتن اون رو مي بينه موريا از خودش خيلي خجالت مي كسه و ميره دنبالش.

Priyanka Chopra & Dino Morea together in Yash Raj's Next


After working together for the first time in Dharmesh Darshan's Aap Ki Khatir, Priyanka Chopra and Dino Morea will team up once again. The duo will be seen in Yash Raj Films’ Pyaar Impossible, which has Uday Chopra in the lead role. Dino, we hear is playing Priyanka’s love interest.

Interesting, the two were playing similar roles even in Aap Ki Khatir which had Akshaye Khanna in the lead. An insider tells us that Pyaar Impossible is loosely based on the Hollywood film, Notting Hill, starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts.

“Aditya Chopra contacted Dino Morea and discussed the subject. He offered him the role of Priyanka’s boyfriend. Dino loved the script and his character and agreed to be a part of the film.”

This will be both, Priyanka and Dino’s first film with the Yash Raj banner. The source further reveals, “The film is scheduled to go on the floors by February.

In the film, Priyanka plays a mega star, who has a boyfriend (Dino Morea) and later falls in love with a bookshop owner played by Uday Chopra.”

When contacted, Dino refused to divulge details. “It's too early to talk,” he said.

بعد از كار كردن با هم در فيلم دارمن درشن اپ كي خاطر ،پريانكا چوپرا و دينو موريا دوباره مي خوان با هم تيم تشكيل بدن .اين دو تا در پروژه بعدي ياش راج پيار ايمپاسيبل (عشق غير ممكنه ) ديده خواهند شد كه در ان ادي چوپرا در نقش مكمل خواهد بود .دينو ، ما شنيديم نقش عاشق و علاقه مند پريانكا رو بازي خواهد كرد .

اديتا چوپرا با دينو موريا تماس گرفت و با اون در مورد فيلم نامه گفتگو كرده و نقش عشق پريانكا رو به او پيشنهاد كرده و دينو از فيلمنامه خوشش امده و همچنين از نقشش و ان رو قبول كرده تا بخشي از اين فيلم باشه.
